Global MBA Rankings - All Categories
For many career professionals, the question is rarely whether an MBA offers value, but rather where that value will be realised: intellectual challenge, professional opportunity, or strategic reinvention.
Selecting the right school requires an understanding of what distinguishes one MBA from another. An established programme can bring the weight of tradition, research pedigree and influential alumni, particularly valuable if it has made seminal contributions in a field that aligns with your goals. A newer programme may offer a more agile and innovative curriculum better attuned to the pace of digital transformation. Smaller programmes often provide closer contact with faculty and peers, while larger cohorts offer broader diversity and international reach. Determining what matters most to you – thought leadership, global exposure, etc. – is central to identifying the right fit.
CEO Magazine’s MBA Rankings serve as a guide to this landscape, assessing business schools across the dimensions that matter most to discerning applicants: quality of faculty, learning environment, modality and flexibility of delivery, tuition fees, class size, international diversity, gender parity, career outcomes, and more.

Green MBA Rankings
Once a compliance box to tick, ESG has become a cornerstone of global business strategy. According to a recent Morgan Stanley survey, 88% of companies worldwide now see sustainability as a driver of long-term value, up three percentage points from 2024, and more than 80% can now measure ROI on sustainability projects; proof that ESG has moved from purpose to performance.
KPMG’s 2025 ESG Assurance Maturity Index echoes the shift, with companies increasingly viewing ESG assurance as a lever for trust, value creation, and resilience. In other words, sustainability has entered the boardroom mainstream.
The same momentum is reshaping business education. GMAC’s 2025 Prospective Students Sustainability Report shows a sharp rise in applicants prioritising programmes that align with their values and prepare them to lead responsibly. Yet many observers argue that business schools still have more to do to embed sustainability literacy across the full MBA journey.
Against this backdrop, CEO Magazine’s Green MBA Rankings highlight those institutions setting the pace: business schools that are not merely responding to ESG trends, but actively shaping the leaders who will define them. These programmes go beyond surface-level initiatives, weaving ethical, social, and environmental considerations into the heart of the MBA curriculum.
The current rankings place particular emphasis on the proportion of core courses addressing ethical, social, and environmental impact. However, additional weighting has also been given to factors such as experiential learning, cross-campus sustainability initiatives and partnerships, faculty research output, innovative delivery formats, and international accreditation standards.
